Description: Award winning 1965 "1964½" Mustang Indianapolis 500 pace car. Pace cars were the rarest production Mustang ever, only 185 were produced. Titled as rebuilt/restored. Ford put on a special competition amongst the dealerships based on their sales performance prior to the introduction of the Mustang in order to distribute these pace cars. This car was won by Bennett Ford in Salt Lake City, Utah. This car underwent a complete professional restoration. Rebuilt 260cid V8 engine, with 2-barrel carburetor, C4 automatic transmission, painted in Pace Car White, paint Code "C" for '64½ and white interior with blue appointments, Code "42".
